You are invited to a CME Teleconference

Overactive bladder (OAB) affects approximately 33 million people in the United States, with symptoms affecting men and women equally and increasing with age. Despite its prevalence, OAB remains underdiagnosed and undertreated, in part due to barriers in patient-clinician communication. Improving dialogue is an important component of advancing OAB diagnosis and management.

Recent trials also point toward improved OAB management via utilization of individualized, symptom-based treatment plans that incorporate patient outcome goals. Current standards of OAB treatment include behavioral modifications and antimuscarinic pharmacotherapy, either alone or in combination. As a means to improve patient outcomes, it is important that clinicians stay up-to-date on the latest communication strategies and trial data concerning OAB management.

This teleconference will explore the latest strategies for effective diagnosis and management of patients with OAB, through an interactive case-based approach led by national thought leaders.
